Purpose: To deepen and strengthen our relationship with God, to become more in tune with His Voice, humble our hearts, align with His Will, and break spiritual strongholds.

The A.C.T.S. prayer model:

Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication is a great way to begin a daily practice of prayer.

Adoration

Fills our hearts with worship and praise for God and humbles our souls in His presence.

Confession

Helps us release the weight of sin and burdens to experience His peace, love, and joy.

Thanksgiving

Keeps us mindful of His goodness and grateful for His faithfulness and many blessings.

Supplication

Is our opportunity to ask God for His help, guidance, and provision for ourselves and others.

- Elimination or Reduction of certain foods (i.e. Daniel Fast)

How to Spiritually Prepare

- Examine your heart and repent of any sin (attitude, behavior, and conduct) so your prayers are not hindered

- Invite the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen you to resist temptations to break your fast
